Schenk Builders was est in 1981 in Bergen Co NJ, where we built a reputation of quality craftsmanship and personal customer service. Our goal is to make the custom homes we build for our customers a dream come true.  Our expertise extends from new construction to renovations of historic homes.  With historic homes renovation our goal is to  maintain the unique quality of the home while updating it  in ways that will not interfere with the nature of the home.  As residents of Orange Co.  ourselves, we are very sensitive to the beauty of this area and therefore we also want to preserve the natural beauty around us when we build.

  A little bit about our family will illustrate our commitment to our business.  President Cynthia Schenk runs the office end of the business as well as spearheading the design components.  Chris, the Vice President, has a BS in Civil Engineering from Newark College of Engineering and an EIT Certificate.  The four young adults of the Schenk family are all familiar with construction and each one has worked on jobs with their father.   We, at Schenk Builders, will  make the building of your home our priority
